MONROE, Mich., Feb. 17, 2009 - Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN) will offer up to a $30 mail-in rebate to motorists who replace their brakes this spring with Monroe Brakes®. The Monroe Brakes "Brake Check" promotion, available on qualifying purchases of Monroe Ceramics® and Monroe Dynamics® brake pads, will run from March 1 through May 31, 2009.
To participate in the Monroe Brakes "Brake Check" promotion, motorists must purchase a set of qualifying brake pads from any participating automotive service location during program dates and submit a sales receipt with a completed redemption form to program headquarters. To qualify for a $30 mail-in rebate, consumers must purchase two sets of qualifying brake pads. To qualify for a $15 mail-in rebate, consumers must purchase one set of qualifying brake pads. All submissions must be postmarked by June 30, 2009.
